Ditch the travel companion if he/she doesn't wanna go.

Probably not, in reality. You should find a way to determine if they will play the fast version of "Trash" or the new "Summertime" version and base a decision on that.

Also - Johansen? LOMIT!

Do you enjoy rock n roll?

If so, go. I love their 70's output and even their last couple of albums had some decent tunes.

These dudes are seasoned vets that I'm sure will put on a good show.

You and your poo-poo apologist ilk are the reason that mediocrity is so highly praised these days.

$35 a pop...

i guess if they've become an equivalent of Jack Rusell's Great Whiteâ„¢, Inc., of sorts, maybe the dough would be better spent at amoeba berkeley

TV performances aren't the best way to judge a band, but I saw a recent show of theirs and it made me sad about life and mortality and not in a good way.

Please. From the guy who apologizes for "Dirty Work".

Are they anymore mediocre these days than say, Cracker? Whose show you said you would attend.

I'd pay the $20 they're charging to see them here and the tracks I've heard on Little Steven's Underground have been pretty good for reg rock.

BTW, they're playing with Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears at the Atlanta show.

In fact, it's on Sat, June 12th. The day of your party at Redlands. I think I'll go to it instead.

FAH Q.

Cracker is putting out better music at this point, yes.

Also, I would love it if you and your boyfriend went to a Johanssen poopoo party rather than come to Redlands.

Also, giving your BamaJam Tic to a homeless person. KK can come, though. She cool.

I second derris' bullshit call on this response. Its worth it if just to see what Johansen's mouth goes for at the end of the show.

More seriously, the set list is watered down by the last two albums (not that they are all bad) but they still played Pills, Trash, Looking for a Kiss, Personality Crisis and You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory along with a bunch of other older songs. I'd say it was worth the price of admission if they had played just three of those and the worst of their newer stuff for the rest of the set. Tell me you wouldn't pay $35 to see the stones play 1 hour plus of Angie, Waiting on a Friend and other similar BS as long as they mixed in Rocks Off, Satisfaction, and one or two other killers. Of course you would, and that's not even the case here, there were only a couple of real momentum killers. On the whole, they still put on a pretty good show.
