got new wheels this weekend, and to my shock and delight, i now have sirius xm in the car. it's so rad, especially in light of the epic fail of LA radio over the last year. when the scrip is up, i'll probably re-up...it's that good.

We still enjoy it, several years in.

Yea, same here. I've had XM and now Sirius XM since Jan 05 and haven't really considered dropping it.

I dropped it last month, but it has nothing to do with lack of good stuff to listen to on it.

even with 7 to 8 qual channels, it beats everything on the fm or am dials... terrestrial radio sucks so much ass, it's ridiculous.

What's the deal with them? I'm a subscriber but they want another $2.99/month to listen online now? It used to be included in the monthly subscription. Kind of pisses me off.

I've had a subscription since '07 and I love it. I rarely listen to anything other than Howard 100, Howard 101, and whatever the "classic" alternative station is.

Wife has it -- it's SLIGHTLY better than cellestial radio, and less tan 10% reliable.

I turn it on when I don't want to think @ what's on.

On the whole, simply because of E Street Radio and Underground Garage, it's "worth it."

Oh yes. 2 channels. E Street Radio and the Grateful Dead channel. I'm new, and I can't get past these. I feel like a teenager with lots of road trips, highway summer, moonroof, and tunes and jams.

What are the other go-to channels?

I love Mojo Nixon's show on Outlaw Country. Shooter Jennings and Steve Earle's show are great too. But the rest of the station kinda blows.

90% of the time I'm listening to Howard 100 or the Underground Garage.

I liked it for the 3 months I had it, but I'd rather buy a new cd each month than pay the subscription fee.

My favorite FM station just switched to an HD station last night. I was rudely confronted with "The Wolf" (that's right, country) in its place.
:(

My presets:

The Virus
First Wave
Outlaw Country
Underground Garage
ESPN
Mad Dog Radio

The Virus
Soul Street
Elvis Radio
POTUS
CNBC
Atlanta Traffic and Weather

I listen to E Street and Grateful Dead more than some of these but they are just a click down from Underground Garage so dont get a preset.
