Anyone watch it? I recorded it, and watched it this morning at work. I was actually pleasantly pleased that some of the weirdness was still intact. I was happy that some of the in-jokes were kept (ode to his Taurus), and that he had a solid line-up of Will Ferrell and PJ.

Speaking of which--new PJ song, yeah or nay. I actually liked it.

Also, the new set is pretty spectacular.

The set was cool, and Will Farrell was excellent as usual.

I caught it up until Will Ferrell came out and I fell asleep.

Nice to see Andy Richter. Is he going to be a permanent fixture?

There was also a painful acknowledgement last night that an entire generation is now passing or has passed into middle age.

The opening with him running to LA was funny, so was the Ford Taurus bit...I'll be tuning in with regularity.

He was getting a little emotional during the monologue.

I liked the PJ song.

I'll just have to flip back and forth btwn Conan and Letterman. It was good, but it felt like he was holding back a little. I guess you have to add a certain level of mature professionalism when you're REALLY under scrutiny by the suits.

I think in the next 6 mos. you'll see the dynamics change greatly. If Conan seems to be tanking they might add Richter in there to spice it up, or you might see Conan strangled into submission. One this is for sure, I'm glad we've seen the last of "Jay-Walking" in that timeslot.

noticed that too. It was as though he was trying to cover-up going bald, except he isn't.

Was just able to watch the first show last night. Awesome. I'm still a little bummed he's not in New York anymore, but I'll get over it.

Andy Richter, yes.

I recorded it for Neko Case, and was pleasantly surprised to see Norm was on. He was hilarious, as usual.
