Hi guys. I think I'm going to leave this board for a little while. I guess I already have, as my posts have been declining and lately I just come here and click "Mark all topics read". No, nothing bad has happened in my life or anything, I guess I've just lost interest. Besides, I don't need more excuses to stare at my computer.
So, after today I think I'm going to stop checking here for a while. But who knows, maybe next week I'll realize that my life is empty without Obner. Anyway, the last 4.5 years <jaw drops> have been a lot of fun. I'll miss you guys and see you around (if you're someone that I see around). I'll certainly be in touch with the Chicagoans once I move there later this year.

Nah, I know how Eric feels. I've been feeling the same way for a while now. One of the reasons I rarely post last couple months.

I think it happens after you've been posting a long time(3.5 yrs in my case).

I'll be around just not as much. Life has just been busy these days. Don't worry, it's not just you guys. I've been this way with the internet in general last few months.

Like anything good, it's most enjoyable when you feel like you can come & go with it, rather than needing it.

I knew it! Y'see, Shmoo, you really should've made up an album to top the Shmoo poll. If, to use your own example, you would've given the #1 spot to Ike Reilly this board would've still been arguing over it. But noooo, it had to go to the homogenized quirk of Arcade Fire and the resulting discussion was, unsurprisingly, wilted and wetted by the tears of boredom.

These are lessons to learn and cherish, Shmoo.
