I'd go for Ambulance Ltd not only because I like them but for the fact that Autolux is opening. Two fave bands in the same night -- can't beat that!

Btw, Mike, I heard they closed The Mason Jar -- that lil' club you showed me. What a bummer.

I think Ambulance Ltd are incredibly boring live, and I'm a fan of their album. I'd stay away. Far, far away.

Is it possible that you could go to both? I was able to pull that off once.

If you go to These Arms are Snakes, let me know how it is. They are playing here in a few weeks.

A friend of mine who'd never heard of These Arms Are Snakes saw them at Bumbershoot last year and was blown away. Said they were the highlight of the weekend.

And, for what it's worth, dood's got great taste.

From the few songs that I heard, they sounded like Q And Not U to me.

Back in 1993 I went from Pegboy at the Vic, and traveled directly to the Lounge Ax to catch the live debut of Jeff Tweedy's new band... Wilco.

Pretty good night.

Autolux is the opening band, maybe I'll see if I can catch them and see if I can shoot over to see these arms are snakes.
