vodka tonic

hey dudes, help a brother out. i want a drink and am out of beer. for a couple people that don't drink hard liquor, we sure have lots of it. i want ot make a vodka tonic. how much vodka and how much tonic? or, is it 1 part vodka, 2 parts tonic, for example?

1 cup vodka, 1 teaspoon tonic. enjoy.

i was thinking about drinking the vodka out of the bottle and then sniffing the tonic water instead

I would go 1:2 or depending on your guests, possibly 1:3 if they're not hard liquor connoisseurs. Or if you don't like them just juice them to yr heart's content.

1:2 is pretty stiff. I'd go 1:3 or 1:4, with (and this is a must) TWO LIMES.
