I love "London Calling" but the highs are too high on "Bringing It All Back Home"

I voted Teh Clash, even though I think this album is overrated.

I may be off on this, but it seems Dylan in these rounds is suffering the way Neil Young did in the prelim round; too many albums spreading the love around. That meant low seeds and crappy draws.

I'd have voted for "London Calling" over just about anything anyway, but for "BIABH" to be losing like this in the second round is startling.

He also suffers from people's favorite albums of his being different one. Highway 61 and Blonde on Blonde generally seem to get more love, and this appears tied with Blood on the Tracks for a record people really like, or often overlook.

He should have released this and Highway 61 as one record, because then we'd probably be talking about the consensus GOAT

I'd chuck 'Positively 4th Street' in there too.

The best album from a first tier artist versus the second best album from a second tier artist.

Dylan, obviously.

DON'T GET THIS WRONG OBNER.

Saw this coming from a mile away.

What do we think the final match-up will be? Revolver vs. London Calling?

Wake me when it's over.

We still have Wilco and Radiohead to deal with as well.

This was an easy choice for me. Favorite Dylan album and I've never really cared for the Clash. Still don't think I've heard London Calling all the way through.

I can't fucking stand the reggae influence on London Calling. Like dreadlocks, rapping, baseball caps, and baggy clothes, white people just need to leave that shit alone.

Nah, those are some of the best songs on the album. Definitely better than some of their other genre excusions (like whatever "Jimmy Jazz" is).

Man, if you all thought I was a whiny bitch about Wilco beating "Pleased To Meet Me" your minds will be fried at the tempest of shit on its way if they beat "London Calling."

I won't be surprised if it does happen, if only because collectively there seems to be a desire to not let it come out on top in another competition. Further, it also seems that there is a wish for a "recent" album to come out on top. Just an observation based on the number of anti-votes thrown so far.
