YHF and OKC aren't very good albums IMHO. I might be the most classic rock centric person on the board

This is my point.

I'm an outlier on this board

Aside from "Can't Hardly Wait" (which, let's face it, is one of the best songs ever written by anyone in any era), Pleased To Meet Me is a pretty uneven and at times pedestrian album.

YHT has become one of the true benchmark "love it or hate it" albums. It used to really annoy me how much people liked it (mainly because I was really really burned out on it) but I'm over that. Its really pretty fucking good even if I pretty much only listen to live Wilco at this point.

The first :08 of "I.O.U." alone puts PTMM ahead of YHF as a whole. It's the American midwestern punk answer to The Stones' "Rocks Off"

For me, anyway.

Chad is my leader.

I'm an outlier on this board so you can't really make a point about the board based on my tastes.

Who's not an "outlier"?

I mean, I don't know. I think that's a little bit pompous, but typical of the attitude that some of you convey regularly. Maybe it sums up the problem I have with several of you. You really believe yourselves to be outside this nebulous "herd".

Jesus Christ Drinky. All I was saying is that I'm one of the few people (maybe only person) on the board that listens primarily to music recorded before 1980.

Haha. Yeah...

I guess I just feel like the board is largely a conglomerate of "outliers".

There are only like 5 or 6 people here whose individual tastes are actually a good sampling of the Obner norm.

And everybody wants to be special here
They call your name out loud and clear
Here comes a regular, call out your name
Here comes a regular, Am I the only one here today

Well, brah, you backed a loser in this one, I reckon. But, from where I'm sitting, that would be the result either way.

I was just giving lyric resonance to the need to be an outlier.

The way I feel today I would have voted for PTMM... what's that sound... but last week I voted for Yankee
