Also, does this use OpenID? Would we lose our usernames, etc?

ANSWERS I HAZ THEM

1. We can keep the logo, I just thought it would look out of place on a different theme. Whatever you guys want.

2. I am reasonably certain there are scripts that will allow me to transfer all existing users, posts, and post-counts over to the new site, because god forbid we move into the new place and have no laurels upon which to rest.

3. The only OpenID mod I've been able to find is insecure, so for now no OpenID. If you can find me another open source bulletin board that supports OpenID and you don't care about #2 supra then that's fine too.

All of this still depends on somebody finding or designing an acceptable phpbb3 theme.

Really? I mean, most sites have a username/password alternative login system anyway, but I cannot imagine why you would be against having a single secure login for all the sites you use.

Well, granted its been probably just an isolated experience that's messed it up. I dunno, it stinks to go to a new site, and find they are using some openid system and then you have to retrieve your username and password, etc. Like I said, its a personal experience that just has discouraged me.
