my wife has comfort problems once being a ballerina, so finding good shoes for her = finding comfortable shoes.

unfortunately, as with most women, she tends to buy a bunch of 'em. (she's bought at least 3 pair on her current nyc trip.)

crazy broads!

I thought you only wore Pumas...
Chucking Pumas out the window? Blasphemy...

Besides, heels can be fun once you get used to them.... Or so I've heard...

Um, I have to go do-something-that-isn't-this right now...

sneakers= only wear pumas, and 1 pair of chucks but i've been on the chuck kick lately b/c i haven't seen any good pumas out lately and i need more shoes.

shoes are good for the soul, except for the ones i'm wearing right now.

Heels might be a pain to wear, but hot damn they do wonders for calves...))

Nothing more classy than a woman in a nice get up and heels....

I stick with birkenstock sandals and shoes. I've got a pair of Doc boots for deep snow.

I turned Gina onto birks, and i think she's up to 6 pairs, but if you're on your feet all day, it's important.

ha... too funny. There are too many Birkenstocks out here, with socks no less. Ugh.

And I do agree that heels make a lady's legs look very nice.

my wife never wears heels - she has bad feet - her arches are unbelievably high.

yes, can you believe it? You'd think they'd upgrade to a funky pair of Clarks or some Borns at least (but both of those are popular here too... along with the multitude of street hikers).

Birkenstocks are a friggin way of life in Portland. that and clogs. there is a massive hippie infestation around here - better call Cartman before a drum circle forms in my attic.

what up shoe nazis?

I like gina in these and in these.

You just can't be a teacher in uncomfortable shoes. It doesn't work.

I stand corrected. I did not realize the wide variety of Birks out there. The only ones I see around here are the sandal variety.

I went through a shoe shopping spree about a month ago... I'm set until I wear out a pair...
