And the R&S remasters aren't too expensive when you find them either. I'm not so interested in an original when I can pick up a newer version that is both cheaper and better sounding.

Everything AFX is expensive in Los Angeles, unfortunately, and ebay prices on earlyish-Warp stuff is through the roof...

I got that Chi-Lites album and love it. Great album to play over and over drinking and smoking with your lady.

Is this the one with the fold-out cover, so you can stand it up?

Nice haul, by the way.

Unfortunately not that cool, just a standard sleeve.

And, yeah, I was pretty impressed. Mostly standard stuff, but nary a clunker.

Someone gave us Elliot Smith's Either/Or on vinyl for the baby shower, and I'd never heard it. It's really pretty damn good. Felt no guilt going out and stealing the mp3's today. Some really pretty catchy mellow stuff on here. Somehow I missed it.

I think that, although it's a great album, you should avoid playing Either/Or for small children. Or me, unless you wish to inspire tears welling in my eyes...

I think I buy too many records, but that's not necessarily a bad thing...
