Ok, those are cute...but not at $155.

I've always had trouble finding shoes I really love, which has led to owning many and wearing few of them. But now I've got to figure out this "nice" shoe for working situation.

Not a big shoe person. I'll find one or two pairs a season and wear them til they die. Which is easy since I have this strange knack for scuffing up shoes rather quickly. I don't know why.

I think Josh enjoys my not being a shoe person.

Oh and I like heels. Mild heels. Not super high heels. I'm short and I feel really awful in flats. ick.

I am not sure if that is correct, but my wife would refer to those as "Monkey Boots" and mean it in a good way. She loves those old boots.

BTW, She is on her feet most of the day and swears by Dansko brand shoes. No heels.

Me... Eh... NB trail shoes or Josef Siebel shoes. For workin', nuttin' beats my pair of green leather Red Wings.

Hello yourself!

As far as "working" I find that, as long as they aren't a showy color, I can get away w/nice looking sneakers as long as the collared shirt rule is in effect...

Ok, those are cute...but not at $155.

They last forever. And you can get replaceable footbeds in them. Seriously, buy one pair. Give em one to two weeks to break em in. Then... heaven. Divvy that $155 over the 3-4 years you'll solidly wear the shoes, and it's not so bad.

Your girlish fashionista tendencies will become a thing of the past.

heh. our office dog is yelping in her sleep and it. is. terrifying.

But see... I bet you look GREAT in them. Granted, I know your rant started about how uncomfortable cool shoes are, but those are 'bug-eyed, double take, odd Warner Bros cartoon noise' shoes. Definitely an attention-getter.

As for my shoes, I got them last year... they must have been last year's style, although mine look the exact same as the ones posted above. I think they normally retail for around $70.

i'm a sucker for those pointy heels though... and i don't usually buy heels that high b/c i'm already 5'7", so it makes me like 5'10" when i wear heels. i need to start thinkin about comfort instead because spring's coming up and that means: MORE SHOES!!!!!!!
