Four bands in five days. Eleven hours of sleep in three days. I'm exhausted. I'm giving away tonight's Stars ticket to Saint and, sadly, am gonna have to pass on seeing Parts & Labor only because Whiney informed me they're going on late. I can't do late, Chris...not tonight.
Kings of Convenience were beautiful. Amazingly, the Los Angeles audience was quiet and attentive throughout the entire set. Erlende's and Eirick's voices so perfectly matched that you were afraid to cough for fear of marring the performance. They were in great spirits being that last night was the last show of two months worth of touring. Joking with us, dancing onstage, if your eyes weren't closed listening to their brilliance, they were wide open with delight. I'm so glad that I finally got to experience them!
Does anyone know about Erlende's sock fetish? He was given about 20 pairs of socks from assorted fans last night.
Sidenote: The past few days have warranted comments from strangers who see me in line or walking about -- "I see you ALL the time!, You go to a TON of shows! How many shows do you go to?, You're at every show I'm at!" The nice part about it, most of those comments have been from VERY cute guys!!
