My wife listens to crap mainstream radio, and while stuck in the car with her throughout various times this weekend, I can tell you that as much as Taylor Swift and Katy Perry and all that junk gets played...no other song got as much airplay NONSTOP ALL THE TIME as that KoL song "Use Somebody." I SWEAR I heard that on the radio AT LEAST 15 times in a two-day span (maybe a combined total of three hours spent in the car). There's about four different stations she listens to, and we heard it on all four repeatedly.

while her style doesnt necessarily speak to my sensibilities its hard to overlook that she is not yet 20 with multiple platinum hits that she actually wrote and that she has considerable enough talent to make her more than just the next carrie underwood or whomever

she is gorgeous talented and her songs are catchy as hell, i think realistically you cant ask for much more. it will be interesting to see if she tries to go indie ala mandy moore down the road
