I like the beard.

No dressing up for me but the baby was a lobster and my chick was a "gypsy" (which we noticed is dangerously close to "hippie")

Me and my girl as sleazy vampires, lookin' more like an abusive junkie couple (we took the teeth out after we realised we couldn't eat or drink with them in), and her friend, carrying "Rosemary's Baby"...

Image

We tried our hand at making a Jack O' Lantern. Turned out okay. Halloween isn't really that big here so it's the first time I'd actually seen one in real life...

Image

Me getting out of the surf soon after dawn. Normal hair restored. I have no recollection of going for a swim...

Nice...did many people pick up on this? I love that movie so I think the J&B would have given it away.

Damn cute kids, too.

Why do I feel like a bit of a creep saying that? Is it a reflection of the times we live in?

no, barely anyone knew unless i explained, "kurt russell...the thing".

and i got talked out of taking the bottle of J&B up onstage with me for the halloween horror marathon costume contest. i think the lady who was running it is anti-drinking or something. i had to explain to her too and the thing had just played at their theatre last night. bah. i didn't even make it into the top 5 but some dude who barely looked like humpty hump did.

Here's the proton pack I made out of garbage, before and after the festivities (I went to a big warehouse party in Hipsterberg):

costume contests are so rigged. the party i went to was won by a couple who went as wayne and garth. she was a pretty good garth, but he had facial hair. i would've had no idea he was in costume if not with her and wearing a wayne's world hat. a marc antony/cleopatra couple came in 3rd. they killed it.

also saw 2 swan dress bjorks. i see at least one every year.

Me and M.I.A.

(I had a wig. I was supposed to be a beastie boy from the Sabotage video, but most seemed to agree I would have made a much better Officer Rod Farva).

This was nearing 2am and 15 beers later--notice the sunglasses. haha

[img][281:500]http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs028.snc3/11558_599546661857_33601518_34703043_317387_n.jpg[/img]

And this was right after shaving, pre-party. Disgusting.

Absolutely. It's almost uncanny how close you are in those pictures.

Yeah, if you knew any of his classic lines and tweaked that costume a bit, it would have been perfect.

Get yourself a flat top before next year and you'd take a costume contest with that look.
