Bonus tracks and other rarities that have been added to the CD reissues of individual albums in past years are also included.

Really? Nothing? The great thing is, its affordable for even the casual Miles fan. Granted, its a lot of stuff, but he put out more good to great than bad to horrible in his career.

nah i'm just talking out of my ass. i've only heard like 4 or 5 of his most famous albums and they do nothing for me. but now i see there are 47 other albums to check out. sounds like a great way to waste a weekend.

I've been really impressed with Columbia's handling of his works with them. The boxsets for single albums have been amazing documents. It appears that this boxset includes those boxsets which makes this even more a steal at under $300. I dunno if they've done something this massive previously, but yeah they have put out a lot of boxsets of his in the past.

I am a big Miles fan.... a couple years ago I bought the "Complete Jack Johnson Sessions" box set.... 5 cd's with outtakes from one recording session.

It's brilliant and I've listened to all 5 disks... maybe once?
