So much for undefeated and I'm glad I didn't start Reggie tonight.

Gutsy f-ing performance by the Bengals today--it would have been easy to mail this one in.

The Chargers (who I seem to get every week at 4pm) are looking really stout right now.

It was a great game, but a tough loss.

Don't worry - my Sorry Seahawks are rolling into Lambeau next week - We just got beat by the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers...although come to think of it, their only other win was against the Pack, wasn't it?? Oh well, we're primed for another beatdown by a good quarterback.

Indeed. I was prepared for a loss, just because the Steelers weren't about to lose their sixth staight, especially at home, but to have it come down to the very last play and be that close, it was a total heartbreaker. If Jenkins got his head out of his ass and makes the sack on the second to last play the game is over.

They really exposed the loss of Al Harris...Bush is terrible, he might be a good athlete but he has no clue how to make a play on a ball. It does no good to keep up with a receiver and then not know what to do when the ball is thrown to that receiver.

It doesn't change much in the long run, a road game in the first round is still likely in store and I think we can make a game of it against anyone in the NFC.

Going to Lambeau is great and all and the fans can be knowledgeable, but our fan base is pretty embarrassing for the most part.

Seriously. Put typical fan in front of any NFL team and you get embarassing yahoo's for every franchise. Try it.

A Wade vs. Norv or Brad Childress vs. Norv or even an Andy Reid vs. Norv SB would rule!

I still have to rate SD the third best odds to win the SB after the Saints and Colts but they are getting real hot at the right time and Phil Rivers is entering that top echelon of QB's.

Yeah, I recall you warning me about this guy as a head coach, Bloor. But I think you called him a "player's coach". He's been nothing like that. He's singling out individual players and/or units and throwing them under the bus every week. Of course, he has never had a negative word to say about himself or his coaching staff.

So far, not impressed. I'm really glad he didn't get the UW job he was lobbying for while the HC for the Falcs!

The Cowboys have a new kicker, and he is one of their former kickers.

The club signed Shaun Suisham, who kicked in six games with the Cowboys from 2005-06, according to a source, on Monday not long after he finished an audition at Valley Ranch with four other kickers.

To make room for Suisham on the 53-man roster, the Cowboys cut Nick Folk.

I don't really understand this move. You cut the guy who actually made a clutch FG against the Saints and sign the guy who couldn't.

Signing Suisham didn't make much sense, but cutting Folk definitely did. He did NOT make a clutch FG against the Saints...he clanged it off the upright at point blank range. The one he made much, much earlier in the game when the lead was much bigger is NOT what any reasonable human would consider anything remotely resembling a clutch kick.
