As far as everything else, I just got the double-vinyl super swank edition of the new Kanye West album, so I'm set for '09...

1. Finish scholarly article in progress with publication assured.
2. Finsih play in progress with publication absolutely unlikely.
3. Finish book of poetry with publication unknown.
4. Prepare my institution for lay offs and restructuring, attempt to be thoughtful, compassionate but efficient
5. Continue my migration from Episcopalianism to Taoism
6. Make it to my my 16th clean/sober anniversary
7. Be disciplined about exercise and yoga
6. Learn to love my partner of 14 years more

Started the album in November. Have drums and bass for half of the album done. Going analog, and releasing vinyl, which is making it slower because i have to have it together when i record.

No edits.

No computers.

Didn't start till November because of finances, but it's on now.

Thanks, i'll give anyone the album digitally who wants it when it's done. About to have a lot more time to record at nights, because my engineer's wife took a night job with the IRS.
