They generally don't use salt in the scandinavian countries. They put down gravel and sand which on the plus side doesn't deteriorate the roads and on the negative side causes havoc with windshields. We went through a couple gallons of wiper fluid on our drive to Finland last Christmas.

Also, I just spent the last 4+ hours driving around Atlanta in a blinding snow and didn't see any salt/sand/granola trucks of any kind. Enjoy that rush hour tonight, fuckers.

You guys don't have anything, right? No salt or plow trucks? Didn't when I was there, I thought. That's the part northerners always forget when they clown on southerners for panicking everytime it snows. What falls on the ground, STAYS on the ground. No army of giant plow/saly trucks descends to clean it all off.

They put out sand here. But they won't even bother with it until there's been about 500 hundred wrecks and people are rioting and jumping off of buildings and firing sniper rifles into the capitol building.

hmmm...

They use salt...and tons of it. People generally will carry kitty litter or some sort of mega-salt in their cars in the winter.

Also her orange skin conflicted too much with the green screens we use to show graphics.”

I've just become aware of a song called King of Fuh by a band called Brute Force that came out on the Apple label back in the sixties.

Why wasn't I told about this sooner?

It's on the psychedelic Apple comp that comes out in a couple of weeks.
