Where in MD are you? We know cold beer, but depending on where you are...it could be a problem.

Seems like that technology needs more beta testing.

Did you order beer that is meant to be served cold?

Wheat beers and pale lagers at fridge temperature, 45-50°F (7-10°C)
Pale ales, English bitter, amber ales or dark lagers at 50-55°F (10-13°C)
Belgian ales, barley wines and similar strong beers at around 55°F (13°C)
Porters, stouts and other dark ales at 55-60° F (13-15°C)
Some of the stronger Belgian beers should be served close to room temperature

When I go up there, it's usually a quick in and a quick out to Farmington- quaint, quiet. Seems to be a LOT of Blue Moon everywhere. As to the specific question...uhh, I got nothing. Probably a lot of crumbling textile mills if you're into that.

Haha- we're staying in Simsbury for a wedding, so it's not like I have a ton of free time. I suspect most of it will be spent drinking and prefacing every comment with "I'm from Alabama, man"

I will say that everyone I've met is very friendly and hospitable. Last time I was up there a few weeks ago, I got asked how I could possibly have a southern accent if I was from Florida. I commenced to explaining that, contrary to popular opinion, not all of it is palm trees, pink buildings, brown cocaine, and bad Don Johnson imitators. In the twangiest voice I could conjure.

A simple "I'm a Tifton, GA native" would've shut them up.

Simsbury, no shit. One of the most fun weddings i ever went to was in Simsbury at The Simsbury Inn or some shit like that.

Ain't shit to do in that town except get harrassed by cops and watch leaves change color, but you went at the wrong time.

Totally where I got that from, and almost posted "or, like The Guy With The Pompadour would say..."

But I was typing in my phone.

I'm pretty sure if this was the case with me, I'd be on the beach in Barbados with a line of cocaine stretching back to the patio of my suite at The Fairmont.
