Picked it up yesterday as a birthday present from pops. Who gots?

Pretty sweet - I was at a campaign office Thursday and they had all their fundraising files/sheets on it, and I was sold. Baller status.

If I hadn't gotten locked into the contract with AT&T I'd go back to a blackberry and rock this all the time. As it stands, I'll just continue being an Apple poster child.

Using my laptop has come to feel like using dial-up internet.

I'm really hoping that v2 has the camera on front because it would be nice to use FaceTime when the wife travels

She grabbed a 3GS right before iPhone 4 was announced, so upgrading her phone isn't an option

I have a MacBook Pro. Interested in seeing the improvements on V.2 though, so possibly then.

It's the little things that are kind of hard to figure -- like how can I copy and paste the code links in the 2010 thread to d/l stuff direct to this and not have to use my MacBook to do so?

Same with stuff like copying a paragraph and not just one word or the entire page?

when you tap-hold on text to copy it you can expand the copy balloon by dragging the blue circles on either side to cover the area you want copied. works with links also. is this what you wanna know

Patrick, have you been using it for work at all? Any of the other Doctors? I could see how it could potentially be pretty useful.

i think some places use it for charting and stuff like that. I mostly use it for reading journals and textbooks and also for writing papers and ive done a couple of keynote presentations on it.

our more tech-savvy guys in my department developed the following technology which works great for iphone but is just mindblowing on the ipad - allows you to see real time into every operating room and check vital signs, communicate with the people in the operating room, etc.

From OR: Guys, are you seeing the size of this guy's dick with me? Holy hell
Onlooker: Damn, I just thought I was small.
OR: The nurses are laughing their asses off.
Next onlooker: Give us a shot so we can get in on this comedy.

How I can imagine this technology being used. I know some OR nurses and such.

well its pretty secure, only the anesthesiology attendings have access to it and its really valuable when you are supervising multiple cases and can be in one OR and paying attention to the others.

he cant get it, its only internal for vandy anesthesiologists. i imagine they will market it to other hospitals but right now we have to get our IT guy to send us the app file. still cool as far as the technology utilization aspect.

i mean its still 90% words with friends, but you know
