Pretty awesome that Rush and Journey still haven't been inducted.

Not a fan of either, but I would not argue with their inclusion.

Bon Jovi is the most absurd. While I am not anti- J Geils, I think hall of fame is a stretch in that case. Totally get Chic and rads did a good job of explaining why.

I vote yes on Kiss and still like their first album. Strutter is a great song.

Keep Journey the fuck away, same with Rush.

For overlooked, I nominate Joan Jett and Joy Division.

Maybe there should be a separate (dirty-ass) wing for the underground bands that deserved to be included — like Minutemen, Hüsker Dü, Black Flag, Wire and others who had a big influence on a small, but important part of rock history?

If it's underground bands, it should be in the basement, and double as a bomb shelter.

If those bands are who they say they are/where, they shouldn't even want to be part of Jann Wenner's Vanity Project For His Conception of the Rock Establishment.

In fact, one of the few times I've ever agreed with John Lydon is when he more or less said the same thing.

Tom Waits' nom is impressive.

I'm OK with the Beasties getting in, even though I haven't listened to them since that lame anti war song.

I'm not sure the variable "cultural impact" should factor in.

And, clearly, it does not in the context of HoF nominees. At least not at this point. As I've said before, let every swinging dick in, including Radcliffe and Flying Rabbit.

My display could go between the Townshend guitars that survived and the outfits the Stones wore.
