Paging Todd, again--

just saw this:

Quote:
Luaka Bop will release a massive Tom Zé vinyl box set on October 5. The contents include Zé's three "studies" records exploring different Brazilian musical styles, a collaborative live 45 with Tortoise, a CD featuring a conversation between Tom Zé, David Byrne, and Arto Lindsay CD, and digital downloads of all that.

http://luakabop.com/tom_ze/box_set/

$69.99+you get a tee.

Thanks for the heads-up!
I have most of that stuff already, although I would love to hear that Tortise collab. (They were his backing band when I saw him in 1999 and it was great.)

Yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing the Tortoise stuff as well. Wonder if it will be available digitally. I'm sure its going to be ripped and found online, if nothing else.
