I've been on a nostalgia kick lately, grabbing as many of the songs from this era as I can remember hearing on those nights of leaving my AM radio playing all night. I've got about fifty so far, but it's hard to remember everything. Those who lived through this and share this experience a little or a lot and want to help the old guy remember some things that he's leaving out, post songs here.

I don't think that I could accurately identify a chillwave tune.

I don't think I could say the word "chillwave" out loud without collapsing into hysterics.

The Carpenters

And then, of course, there's:
"Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song" by B.J. Thomas

Carl Douglas - "Kung Fu Fighting"

If that's not AMish enough for you, there are a ton of Captain and Tenille, Carpenters, and Peaches & Herb songs out there.
