If they lose to both UW and WSU in the same season it has been a bad year.

The end of this UGA/AU game has been ugly.

Nick Fairley has now rocketed to the top 3 of my most hated SEC players of all time. Fucking thug beyond belief.

I can't believe the shit he got away with all game long. Those ejections were a direct result of this shit he was pulling all game long. Fuck his whole family.

This season can't end soon enough. It's not that our record sucks but that we've been in every single one of our losses this year. Just fucking brutal.

I can't wait for this Scam Newton thing to be resolved and Auburn suffers AGAIN the pain of having a great season erased from existence. Not that I think they'd beat Oregon anyway. Auburn's D is terrible and not Championship worthy.

Regardless, Mark Richt is the 6th highest paid coach in college football. Anything less than a trip to Atlanta next year warrants a pink slip.

Fuck the world.

Beautiful day On The Plains completely ruined by that onside, and us "blinking first" and going for. A field goal.

We drove home to the soothing sounds of Decoration Day.

Just watch - 2012 we're gonna be scary.

Ive been mainlining beers since the end of the game, but can feel the melancholia creeping in, but because of election hangover, the weather, and the vibe I was putting out, I feel like Hemningway after the oysters and the wine - I began to feel happy.

I'd argue we were never in the Miss. State game, but that's just me.

As for yesterday's game, I was pretty sure it was over in the second quarter when Auburn got the two straight defensive stops followed by two TD's to tie it up at the half. I've seen Orburn play enough this year to know that we just didn't have enough despite what I thought was a pretty great effort by the defense.

Completely agree with you on Fairley: Dude is out of control and will get got down the line.

Hate to say this because of my affinity for the SEC, but I'd take Boise St. over Orburn because of that defense: I haven't actually seen TCU play so I can't comment on them.

If things hold, I'd make the line Oregon -4.5 over the Tigers War Eagles whatever the fuck their called.

I don't think Auburn gets there. Circumstancial evidence makes it pretty clear that daddy sold Cam to Auburn, with or without his knowledge. He then took the dirty money to do the work of the lord in his churches. Another blow to college football and Christianity.

Arkansas St and Chattanooga scored 26 and 24 on Auburn.

Just sayin.

I'll be interested to see how Boise St. fares in the newest BCS.....with Utah losing bad, Baylor Losing and TCU winning a close one and V-Tech winning again...i think they may jump them in the computers as well. Thankfully Nevada won again too.

Also interested to see how the Wisconsin win helps their position.

If this matchup comes to pass, Auburn's secondary will get lit up like a Christmas tree. That close one against Cal notwithstanding, the Ducks are on some videogame shee.

Oregon has had 4-5 really slow starts and were able to break them open late through big plays/special teams plays/other team turning it over. I think the Ducks are pretty beatable if the other team can punish the Ducks up front (small D-line, not great O-line) and avoid giving up the big plays. See: last year's Rose Bowl.

You also have to factor in the month layoff before the game (gotta love that continuity CFB, it really preserves the competition of the game...) and which coaching staff can A. cook up the best game plan and B. keep their players motivated.

If they were to play, they should run a split screen shot of each team's crazy ass offensive sign system on ESPN 8 while the game is on.

The other factor in this is Boise has three games left while TCU only has one. Assuming both win out, a jump is inevitable IMHO.

As an aside, Oregon's strength of schedule to date is worse than TCU's and a hair better than Boise State's. While beating 'Zona would help their strength of schedule a bit, margin of victory is the still the main driver for their #2 on most computer rankings.

I expect Auburn will lose to either 'Bama or South Cack, taking a lot of the edge of Cam-gate (Heisman aside). I also expect Oregon vs. BSU/TCU to be fairly close and a lot of fun to watch.

That'll be a huge game (a big upgrade over the Ole Miss game thats been dropped). Thankfully Kellen will be back so BSU shouldn't be too bad despite losing tons of key seniors.

May have to plan a trip for the game.

I can't believe that people were making the argument that Georgia shouldn't play this game because, well, there's a fair chance they might lose. Idiots.

I think this is huge and great for both schools.

It's almost as cool of a game as LSU kicking off with Oregon in Dallas's new stadium.

It's cooler actually because it doesn't have the stink of The Dallas Failboys and their gigantic teevee on it.

Also, kudos to the ATL Sports Council people for breaking up the monotony of this game being an SEC/ACC matchup.

I kind of enjoyed the "Annual ACC Fail Game."

I heard they're about to institute a 10 Mississippi rush count.
