Have you guys been keeping up with the cost of this challenge? Seem to be a lot of "exotic" ingredients that aren't used on more than one burger at a time.

not really tallied the cost. i just add another $15 or so to my grocery bill and that usually covers it. i recycle most of the leftover fancy ingredients on lunch sandwiches or omelets later in the week. gruyere, dill and balsamic mayo make a microwaved veggie patty 100x more palatable

i got behind and now it's time to play ketchup

see what i did there?

<prove it all night>

THE BOSS

Such beautiful ingredients. I fell for prosciutto hard, so much so that I piled the rest on top of the veggie patties I take to work. It looks like a cartoon steak, knawmean? We also couldn't find rosemary ciabatta's, so Shera, in her imfimite wisdom, bought some rosemary, and some ciabattas, and viola. MacGuyver in the kitchen.
Image

Wisconsin said merlot was on the menu. It seems like we've had the R&G before but I don't want to rifle back through 35 pages to check. It could just be that there is a bottle-in-progress every time Shera and I get together.
Image

The Bosslet we made for my son was kind of cute, so I took a picture of it.

Live from Asiago Park.

Score
This one felt like it wanted to be something it couldn't quite attain. I wanted to feel the tang of tart asiago and the blunt olive bitch slap of garlic-olive tapenade, all carried down my tunnel of love on the spongy chewy vehicle of rosemary ciabatta. I wanted another Big Ben, is what I wanted, but Mediterranean style. With those faggy unAmerican greens the president eats. Arugugugla.

But no.

ImageImage out of 5 John Gottis, because Shera thinks I missed the point on this theme and that it's about mafia bosses.

Not sure if the Crabby Louie seems appealing to me. Love crabmeat, Love hamburgers, but i'm not sure about the combo of flavors on a sandwich.

If you take the patty off of the burger, it sounds delicious.

i just got back from whole foods in search of the freshest crab meat one can buy in landlocked indiana. i'm no crabologist, but my ready-made choices appeared to be wild-caught in cans which was gray in color, or processed fake-crab, which is the traditional pink and white stuff you see on that burger up there. it took about 11 minutes of walking around in the bread aisle looking pensive and 4-5 texts with femtoots to decide on getting a half pound of these:

Yes.

Also, why exactly do people live in Indiana?
