Had lunch out today and Fergie Jenkins sat at the table next to us.
Just smiled and nodded and let him eat his lunch with his friends.

Which dream of the 90's are you living out in Portland, rp? The one where your bills still come every fucking month? Yep, living the same dream.

Cannot wait. In the trailer there are definitely some flourishes of BMR and EVOL.

if that's the metric, then Richmond is holding it down for 1998 as well as anyone, per capita. I have a theory that a good arts (fine, not liberal) school in town means an abundance of experienced waitstaff, and therefore good restaurants.

I have a surprisingly difficult time buying Christmas gifts for a 3 year old girl.

Just found out that we're closing on the 23rd in addition to the 24th. I had no idea.

I used to hear that song all the time when I listened to Dr. Demento. It's up there with The Kinks Art Lover for creepiest song.

This happened to me once in college. Over-sugared a batch of 22oz bottles, then stored them in a cardboard case at the foot of my bed. One night around 2am I heard a POP followed by the sound of tinkling glass, turned on the light, and was greeting by a glittering, foamy wonderland of tiny brown glass shards, all over my bed / room. One chunk actually cut right through a beer glass I brought back from germany that was on my tv... fucking sliced it cleanly in two, leaving the bottom half in place. Shit was amazing / horrifying. Took me 2 hours to get it cleaned up without cutting myself. I bled the rest of the bottles by burping them with an opener, just starting to open them a tiny bit then backing off. A looooong gasp of air would come out, and even then they were fizzy as hell to drink.

Money! I actually have to work tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. But after this weekend, I gotta do something to get some scratch coming in. :o

Pairs random Family Circus comics with random Nietzsche quotes.
