I would share their last remix album people's history of the dismemberment plan in return. or a bootleg of their last show in washington...

I was initially a bit lukewarm on Change since it wasn't Emergency & I, Pt. 2 and a bit more restrained, but I kept on listening to it for a year or two after it came out and grew to really like it. Love it, even.

I'm a little bitter that Emergency & I brings up such a pleasant feeling of nostalgia for me, mostly because I still think this singer is a dink. Still, I had a blast at a lot of their shows over the years. Had tickets for last night in DC, but got out of it after realizing that I just don't even want to try and get those years back, even for a night. and the crowd would probably be more than I can handle at this point.

Man, I was really wanting tix but didn't want to pay the outlandish prices that people were asking on craigslist/stubhub/ebay. I feel like I should've been able to bring my copy of "Travistan" to any venue on the tour and get in for free :lol:

Don't know if I want another album, but I wish they'd extend the tour. Saw them on the last go round after they announced the breakup and they were incredible.

I think they played only 2 shows in germany ever, and that was as the support act for pearl jam in 2000. it was the first time I heard about them and I fear they'd never play in europe again. because of that I would really appreciate another album.
it was interesting to follow them on facebook, from the first announcement of emergency & I on vinyl and - I don't remember - 1 show in DC and one in NYC? now it's quite a big tour, even japan. weird.
have they ever played on one of these late shows or are they getting more popular than ever right now?

I would vote the latter. I don't recall them ever doing late night before Fallon, but I know they had at least one world tour to support Change in late '01. I remember a blog post from Japan about camera phones and how Travis was totally geeking out seeing them at their show.

They were certainly indie darlings, but their acclaim was essentially limited to American critics.
