Streaming at http://ganggangdance.com/. I fucking love it. That 6:15 mark or so when that groove comes together is just damn fantastic. Easily most anticipated album of the year for me.

I'm interested in hearing that Battles now that they are minus Tyondai. I wasn't a huge fan of the EPs, but Mirrored is classic. Hopefully some of the guests they bring in minimize the impact of losing him (plus it doesn't hurt that Stanier is still a beast).

totally agree! can't wait for this record. word i've heard is that it's great. they certainly get better and better with each record, and saint dymphna was already extremely impressive.

also really looking forward to that ponytail.

Saint Dymphna was my favorite album of 2008, so I'm pretty excited for this.

This sounds pretty good to me. Definitely miss the Tyondai element, but there's a lot of cool stuff going on here.

I don't know what I think of it yet. I have listened to it three or four times now and I'm not as immediately grabbed by it as I would expect to be. Right now, I don't think I like it as much as any of the songs from Mirrored. Though it's certainly not a bad song, I guess I am still a bit disappointed in it somehow.

Yeah, I don't even know how many times I have listened to this new Gang Gang at this point...pretty special album for sure. They've come a long way over the past few years.

Still refusing to listen to Battles until I hear at least something positive about it.
