I've heard rumors of a live-action Akira for a while now... I would expect that to be legit.

I would also expect it to suck.

yeah, there's been some news of this for awhile. I can't imagine a worse idea, but then I'm sure 1998 Cotton would be stockpiling peyote by now for opening day.
