It's better than I expected, but there really isn't a memorable hook on the whole reckid. The singer's developed a pleasing croon for a number of tracks, and I find those songs better than the forced rocking on the more uptempo stuff. But overall, it sounds like one of those albums that by the end of the year you won't remember ever having heard.

That sounds about right. I randomly played the debut the other day, worked up a little excitement and then remembered how little the follow ups did for me (apologies, Dov)
