Tell them that you didn't take this job to actually work, and you would appreciate it if they would quite interfering with you masturbation/defecation/postiation schedules.

Man, if you get that gig, I smell an HST-esque opus of epic proportions that will launch your literary career into the same stratosphere currently occupied by your mongering career!

Welp, I had high hopes for this one. The guy calls me and says "How Can I Help You?" which is an intersting question. How about "You can give me a job, fuckstick?" So, we chat about what I've done, what I want to do, etc...and he tells me that they don't have any in-house jobs, but that they are starting to staff their campaigns, and that he wil put me near the top of the list for those folks to talk to.

So, while it was better than nothing, it almost feels worse than if they had never even called. Thing is, the reason I ever contacted any of these fucks is that I want a job in DC, I've done enough campaigns, and I'm just about sick of this shit. My skills like much better in trouble shooting than in day to day processes.

And on top of that, the best congressional candidate in the country, the number 1 challenger race, decided not to run. He was going to hire me for a hit ton of money, and in all likelihood would have won, but that's life.
Back to Square One. I need a drink.
