I barely knew it was happening, but every rapper on twitter is going buck over it.

Mayweather (42-0, 26 KOs) did not have a lot of time to celebrate and was soon questioned about what had happened by HBO's Larry Merchant during an in-ring interview.

"He did something dirty," Mayweather said. "His corner said I was dirty, and he did something dirty. All along, his corner was saying I was dirty, but I won the fight."

At that point Mayweather's interview with Merchant degenerated. Mayweather began to get into Merchant's face, saying, "I'm going to do you a favor and let you talk to Victor Ortiz, because you've never given me a fair shake. You ain't s---."

"If I was 50 years younger, I would kick your ass," Merchant, 80, said back to him before turning to Ortiz.

Yeah, that plus the Merchant breaking the 4th wall and bug eyeing the camera were fucking priceless.

HBO took the video of the replay down from youtube - but Mayweather seemed to remember about halfway through the interview that if he didn't stop talking he might let the cat out of the bag and starting going HAM on LM.

Ortiz seemed way to nonchalant about the whole thing. I wanted him to start yelling about La Raza, MS-13 and his homies in Cypress Hill - then have his corner man throw a fight-ready cock at Mayweather's corner.

Mayweather landed the same combination after a break on Mosley that he landed on Ortiz last night, except the latter doesn't have an iron chin.

I wonder when opponents will start to understand that Floyd doesn't like to hug and kiss in the middle of a fight.

Don't act like boxing is that far away.

Mayweather and Merchant have never liked each other, which is fitting since they are both assholes. Having said that, I still really like watching Mayweather.

I dunno, his "If I was 50 years younger I'd whip your ass" comment rocketed him from Boxing's Tim McCarver to Boxing's "Dude who looks like Lloyd Bridges but ain't afraid to yell at crazy black dudes"

the black women yelling 'u huh, amen, yous right, yous right' in the background is the best.

requesting Merchant be fired is laughable.

Anyone who put down $70 for this got what they deserved. I'd have bet everything I had that Mayweather would win this.

It's truly Greek Tragedy level what has happened to boxing.

If we do ever get Mayweather/Pacquiao I hope Manny beats him to a bloody pulp.

But in Boxing, the customer is never right.
