Really?
What is this John Cage for the short attention span set?

I love what the Lips are doing, and how they are creating things that completely fragment how people think of music, and the whole listening experience.

I downloaded the 6-hour song a while back and still haven't listened to it. I don't even want to think about this one.

That skull looks pretty cool. I thought it was going to be one of the gummy ones, but I guess they already did that.

And yeah, this is basically the kind of ridiculous shit a band in their position should be doing. I may never listen to any of this stuff, but that's beside the point. It's great to see a successful band totally forego commercial viability and just go with their craziest whims.

I don't want to hear anything anyone has to say for 24 hours straight.

I think this is my basic reaction, as well. I really hate The Flaming Lips, but it would have been very easy for them to go the route of just releasing albums of rehashed Yoshimi songs. But they haven't. So, uh, I give them as much accolades as I can to a band whose songs I actually don't like at all.

Unless someone ripped it (very likely) you probably won't see many.
