I've done it too (smoked.) You can look at it like "big bad" heroin or you can decide to try it once and never again. In hindsight I don't regret doing it, just like I don't regret doing cocaine. Doesn't mean I'll ever do 'em again, though.

Cartoons in general are a pothead's best friend...though I prefer them on the funnier side rather than the action side.

it's funny, because i put a shitload of simpsons quotes on my ipod to help break up the routine (np: "Forget it Marge, it's Chinatown!" as I type this) and should really get in on that. June 6. I'm pretty sure I can do this. I gotta keep it down around my pals because those motherfuckers can rock that shit blindfolded.

I went to one (and only one) simpsons trivia. I'm a huge fan. I know too much. But the range of knowledge was not enjoyable in that room... there was a HUGE divide between 90% of those people and the remaining table. That table knew everything, immediately, and answered before they guy was done reading the question. Everyone else just duked it out for 2nd.

No drugs. I'm boring. Never even smoked a cigarette.

Oh, man...I had those about a year ago for the 1st time cuz I tweaked a nerve in my back. Fucking LOVED them. lol. Never been that mellow ( for lack of a better word ) before.

My Controlled Substance Cliff Notes :

Smoked weed & been drunk a gazillion times, & I used to smoke cigarettes. Stopped 'em all about a dozen years ago for various health reasons.

Did coke once ( snorted ) - had a GRRRRRREAT time. So much so that the next morning I knew I'd never do it again.

Dropped acid once - had a HORRRRRRIBLE time. But I was in a bad mood when I tripped, so I don't blame the drug. Never had the desire to try it again, though.

Never did smack or crack...IMO, those are for people with problems worse than I've ever faced, thankfully. Nothing positive about them at all. As Bill Hicks once said "there are better drugs, & better drugs for you" .

So, 6 obs have smoked the rock, and 7 have done the devil dust and 16 say drugs are bad. I am going to assume that of the 11 that wanted to know why I put the poll up, a 7 or 8 are secret crack fiends, and were mad that I reminded them of their predilections. the other 3-4 of those are just pissed off at being asked anything.

That said, I'd say with the weed heads, the drugs may not work, but many of us still use them.

Yeah a close friend of mine recently told me they shot it once years ago. Kinda freaked me out quite a bit. They had the same perspective as you do. I suppose I understand the curiousity to try something once. Still freaks me out a bit though.

I've personally never gone anywhere near the stuff and have no intention of doing so. Same with crack, and coke.

I'm a psychedelic kinda lady, and even at that I rarely feel the desire for any substance-induced help with that.

In terms of uppers, a nice shot of high quality espresso suits me just fine.
