(It was really a way to keep track of some of their kid-isms, while simultaneously being able to let some of my non-local family in. I was going to post them in my regular facebook feed, but wanted to keep them separate as they are more special to me than random posts I make about me living as a bachelor for 2 months, or eating tortilla chips out of a trash bag for lunch.)
