it's really going to be my man-room. this is perfect and beautiful. the guy that used to do aesthetic apparatus used to hang over at cmj. haven't seen him lately (i don't think). anywho, if you've never seen their stuff, you should definitely check it out.

If you can't love that, I'm going to have to question you people's taste. Or maybe you're ignoring this because you think it's more suitable for the dining room. Is that it?

I check out Aesthetic Apparatus every so often and I think I'm going to order a poster or two in the next week or so. I'm thinking Low and maybe Mclusky. AA do great stuff.

How do you go about framing these?

Most of them are 18 x 24, and Target sells a good quality metal frame for that size for $19.99.

I custom framed a 30" x 11" GYBE concert poster a few weeks ago and the fucker was $70, even with a 50% sale going on. I didn't realize framing stuff was so expensive. Unless it's something I really want, I'm gonna try and stick to 18 x 24, 24 x 36, or 28 x 40 for a while.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to do the framing myself, but sometimes you've just gotta break down and pay. Depends on the value to you, I guess. I've got an original hand signed/numbered Kozik poster of a Nirvana show about a month or so before Kurt's demise and I've still got it in a little Wal-mart plastic job. I mean to remedy that, though.

I could never buy a $20 poster.

My wife can mat and frame stuff, for a nominal fee (less nominal if it's a weird size).

These aren't the "posters" that you hung on your wall in jr. high. They are on much heavier stock and the prining process is different.
