Still feeling the effects of this. I texted Gar this morning that FemDerris and I ordered Japanese delivery last night and they forgot my salad dressing and I almost cried. An emotional wreck.

So many beers. IPA's, Brown ales, High Lifes, Pale ales, and an "orange drink" in there somewhere. Had a 3+ hour dinner session BEFORE the show even started.

Lucero were great.......I think, despite the terrible venue. Shitty sight lines and a muffled sound did them no favors.

Still, always good to get some Gar time in.

Salad dressing is important, man.

I wasn't even really able to enjoy Chipotle...got home, took two bites, put that bitch in the fridge and then went to work on this huge loaf of sourdough I picked up at a bakery on the way out of town. Bread and Water. Feel ok today, though.

Apparently people are flipping out about a company who is paying homeless people to be Wireless HotSpots at SXSW

I'm not sure I have a problem with this. It's not like it's Bum Fights or other active exploitation. Seems like a pretty good solution to the problems of the company and the homeless guys.

I have no problem with it. How is that any worse than the people twirling signs for your local Tax Prep place wearing a Statue of Liberty costume?

Last night the Mrs had a work event at a very nice joint downtown. We arranged babysitting, I brought Neuro's really nice camera, and I got to be the photog. The deal was this - they had pre-paid several grand for food (whichwasfuckingincredible) and booze, and whether you use it all or not, it's gone. Fast forward to 9pm, all but about 5 of us were gone, and we checked on the tab, and still had several hundred bucks to go. So we called Neuro, who biked there in about 12 minutes flat, and the first thing he says is "why are you still drinking BEER. Where's the scotch?" (it was dogfish head, I thought I was doing my part)

So he huddled with the bartender, who then went into the basement and came back with a tray with 3 glasses on it, $50 each. I didn't catch the names, but they were 3 different shades, from medium caramel to almost clear. They were fucking delicious, but I went to sleep slightly drunk (one 45 min bicycle ride home later). Head does not feel wonderful today. Nothing in the freezer looked appetizing at 7:30am, hopefully something up in the caf will look appealing.

I have relatives who would re-post that with no doubt whatsoever of its authenticity.

I'm sorta surprised a majority feels like interracial marriage should be legal

i just don't think that's really how you get a video like this. i mean... you would have to scan the inside of the scanner...with a different scanner? how come we see the scanner operating sometime? the scanner would stop functioning and fry out after not long of this.... it just doesn't add up
