he's playing here Saturday night, small-ish venue.

he puts on a good show. it's worth it if you like his music. it may even be worth it if you don't.

i saw him about 10 years ago and it was really great. can't imagine it's gotten worse, even though his music has.

I think? I'm just guessing. I can't remember if it was before The Private Press came out and that was in 2002.

Actually, I have a list that I think is complete of every show I've been to starting in 2004 and DJ Shadow is not on it. Unfortunately, I think it was 2002.

I saw him in '02, and it was fantastic. Given his later output, I have no idea how his live show might (not) change.

the first time i saw him was in '02 touring for the private press and it remains one of the best visual performances i've ever seen.

now, last year he played a festival i was at, but the genius organizers put him on during the day and the visuals were completely lost in the sunlight. the music sounded pretty good, though.
