File Under: "Things you didn't expect your wife to say"

So my wife casually drops this on me in the car just now as we're leaving work... A co-worker of ours in her late 30's grew up in the same town as someone from the decemberists (in OR?), and they're playing here in town tomorrow night. She got 5 VIP passes, and gave 2 to us. I just found out on the way home.

I am a-twitter.

I promise to take pictures.

What do the VIP passes get us, I wonder? If I get to meet them, I'll be pretty damn stoked.

It'll get a lecture from your mother about making sure to eat your vegtables, as she's been whoring herself out to pirates just to afford them.

Also, a coffee mug with a picture of a kitty clinging perilously from a tree branch, with an inspirational saying.
