Or run a record label that only puts out "Limited Edition Vinyl"

and by limited edition I mean, limited to your house.

See I didn't even want to go there. You could have said: "Marlins/Heat: 4 Rings; Braves/Hawks: 1 Ring", and I would have shut the fuck up. Nothing beats reminding me I live in Loserville.

He's the highest paid athlete in town and I couldn't tell you what his voice even sounds like. So fail.

But hey, we just brought in DANNY FERRY AS PRESIDENT AND GM!!

I love that they use the Hamburglar sounder whenever Joe's name comes up on the Zone.

And Derris, I've got no problem with the Danny Ferry hiring--at least he comes from the Spurs and I've actually heard of him before which is more than you can say for Rick Sund or that dude who is our coach who could crash through my office window and I would not recognize him.

I feel the same way but when bringing in a new GM is the highlight of the year it's a sad state of affairs.

And, it's the Hawks, it'll all end in disaster.

Danny Ferry is the schmoe who couldn't get Lebron any help in Cleveland.

Also, Derris, he's a Dukie.

Fact of the day: Ferry and Battier are the only two Coach K-era Duke players to win an NBA Championship.

Roleplayers.

Though, Battier's role is much closer to essential than Ferry's. (Ferry got his ring the same way as Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson: riding the bench on Tim Duncan's bandwagon.)

If Ferry pulls off trading away Joe AND Marvin I might become a Duke fan. NBA Executive of the Year already in the bag in only a week on the job. If we 22-60 next year with Al Horford & The Expiring Contracts I'll take it if the Hamburglar is really gone for good.

Sooo... Steve Nash to the Lakers and some expectation that Bynum might be swapped for Howard, or Gasol to somebody for somebody.

I bleed what they used to call Forum Blue (which is purple) and I really want Kobe to get a few more rings before his wheels go completely, but Nash is 38.... it (the rings) better happen this year.

I don't really think they needed someone who can distribute the ball as much as they needed someone who could defend against quick point guards and that isn't Nash. Bottom line though is even at 38, Nash is still a very good player and this is a clear upgrade for the Lakers. I just wish that they had someone with a different tool basket than Blake backing him up at the point.
