...are still finding their way in terms of a live show.

The set was heavily front-loaded with the best tunes, and weakened a lot near the end. They have great enthusiasm, though, and already have more stage confidence than they showed at SXSW last month. I really like that the singer isn't mopey or full of himself (at least for now).

They also noted the crazy scalping going on for show tickets, saying "you guys got ripped off - we're not worth it! Maybe we should play hits by other acts so you get more value." Then they did 5 second snippets of Coldplay, Franz Ferdinand, and Killers songs.

Thanks for that, Tom. I'm not sure if you've heard/seen the live tracks on the Silent Alarm bonus DVD (maybe be UK only), but I was really impressed with those. Wondering how they would compare.

I saw them a couple weeks ago - it was pretty good, but the set then was heavily frontloaded too. I think they're touring with a "set setlist" this time through...

This is my impression of their Seattle show to the letter.

They then followed with 4 minute snippets of each band as well.

yeh, they sounded drained of energy toward the end of the show. it was pleasant, but they were dragging.
