I always found it interesting looking at artists backstage demands and needs.

At least it says 'please'. That's a lot of food, but there's nothing really outrageous on there as I've heard other celebrities request.

Maybe the woman enjoys running and has raised her metabolism to nigh-rodent level, so she needs a deli-meat halo about her at all times. Ever think of that?

Actually, I got no problem with that rider. I mean they only request a 1/2 gallon of milk...Waste not want not. My obvious problem is: No wine, no booze, and only a case of LITE beer. C'mon Asslee Simpson Band (nee ASB), while I would most certainly play bass in the ASB, it would take me a few to go out there every night----I mean, you have a case of Red Bull---why not a bottle of Jaeger to mix it with? OJ? Vodka? Does anyone drink Pooty Tangs?

What a bunch of fucking lightweights. But oh to have a job where they have Triscuits, fruit, and cold cuts at your beckon and call.......

I was expecting AT LEAST a roll of Saran Rap.

No. DAT other rider.

There's the one that Rev. Joe Simpson sees, and the one that actually makes it into the dressing room.

Why do you think Ashlee has all that trouble with inflamed vocal chords and laryngitis?

Cocaine, babies. Columbian blue-flake. The magic dust that made Cheech and Chong's reindeer fly when they were subbing for Santa.

Actually, this is pretty tame and surprisingly devoid of a lot of the bullshit folks ask for that they usually just have out in the tour bus. Almost typical catering requests...

I like that she has inner ear monitors + plus wedge mixes down front. Lot of good it's doing, eh?!

Nice amp recommends - I was considering getting a Mesa-Boogie 3-channel before I went with an Orange.

Yes I would love having a tour rider.

one of my friends was in "deep blue something" back in the "breakfast at tiffany's" day and he said they used to put 3 packs of one stripe tube socks (6 per package) and "one six pack of shiner beer" on their rider -- and this was before shiner was available nationwide.

he laughs now - says he knows they were assholes about it, but, figured it was going to be their only shot so they should make the best of it. (he was right)

Trying to get my head around how much older I am than you.

I'm pretty sure I was already over 30 when that was a hit.

No. That's past already. Vh1 has done both "I love the 90s" and "I love the 90s, part deux".

Now, it's just a matter of waiting 'til late 2006 for the boys at Video Hits to do "I love the Aughts" -- 2007, 08, 09, and 10 will be speculative, with events foretold by NAStrodamus.

How do they decide what the finest is? What if they accidentally buy the second best kind? Will Ashlee flip out if she discovers there's a better grape jam that she's not eating?

i thought similarly. also, this seems to imply that every venue makes their own grape jelly. and that concept had me laughing a little bit.

Seriously, no one is licking balloon knots, safely?

I can't wait till the Simpson girls are forced into pornography.
