I just heard Stars' 2003 album 'Heart', I'm impressed.

Is SYOF similar? Better, worse? Any fans?

i haven't all of heart, but i like set yourself on fire more than what i know of it. then again, it also took me seeing them to really appreciate them. most stars fans would probably put heart first, though.

I personally like 'Heart' better, but 'Set Yourself on Fire' is only a small step below it. Both are really good albums.

I posted the first track off of Set Yourself on Fire in the Obner Make a Mix thread. I think that song, your ex-lover is dead, is great, lyrics and all. However, I was a little dissapointed with where the rest of the album went. It was just kind of boring. I have not listened to any songs off Heart though. So, I am of no real help. I think that Stars has potential to be reall good, but from what I have heard so far, I can't say I am a huge fan. The chicks voice is just great though. mmmmm.

"Elevator Love Letter", the second track off of Heart is definately one of my top 10 favorite songs of all time. Absolutely fabulous

I think Ageless Beauty from the new one is a great song. It sounds like the best song Lush never made.
