It seems possible that GA will go the way of VA and NC at some point. South Carolina never will though...more likely to secede.

i heard some right winger a couple weeks ago saying OR was "in play" for Mitt. Uh, no. Obama won it by 10 points.

Obama won CA by almost 2 million votes. Republicans might want to consider nominating a moderate hispanic from CA.

I really don't understand people. Some chick saying that the world's ending because Obama is a dictator stealing our freedom. I asked for her to provide me with one dictatorial thing he has done knowing full well what her reply would be. Like a dog on horseshit, she replies, "Obamacare." I let her know she was 100% correct, except that Congress' involvement made its existence the direct antithesis to dictatorship. No response yet. I don't know why I entertain people with opinions like that.

I'm no stockbroker, but i think it's safe to say that that huge drop in the Dow today can be attributed largely to "for-spite" selloffs.

I made a very similar statement as it was being called. Not as funny or eloquent, but exactly the same point.

Romney conceded Florida so the final tally is...

332-206

Only lost North Carolina & Indiana from 2008. Bigger electoral mandate than George "Let's spring Social Security privatization on them" Bush. But Obama has no political capital, per mainstream media. Still has to compromise.

"HE" still has to get bills through the house...

I think my favorite meme of this whole election and of Barry's 8 years is the contradiction Yail Bloor laid out very early on - that of "Obumbler/Badrack Insane Obummer" and the mastermind out to take all yer properties and white chick's buttholes. I have people in my life who vacillate between the two positions in real time. It is hilarious.

Also, tomorrow, I'm going TO SHOOT MY GUNS! (because you never know when they're coming to take them, right Wayne?)

Oh, I don't think we're going to get cap n' trade & single payer, nor, even, that Obama will push those, but compared to what Bush pushed in 2005, whatever Barry does will be so moderate it won't hurt you to support.

Anyway, now, Harry Reid is our greatest asset. Followed by Biden.

No, according to my sources, we voted for socialism and or a Zimbabwe style redistribution of white farmers' lands.

And, yes, Yukz Biden is the greatest elected official we have - only because Bubba is retired/not in elected office anymore, but still.

Bush actually made an effort in 2005 to...do shit, starting with reforming Social Security (DOA) and then Immigration Reform (killed by the Repubs who went on to kill the Bank Bailout in '08 [later passed] and who changed their name to the Tea Party after Barry's election. The same people who would have caused John McCain to have a stroke and die in office.) But then, ya know, Katrina and nominating someone with a 43 IQ to be on SCOTUS=end of presidency.

Ive actually had Republicans tell me that it was over when he nominated Harriet Meyers. Like, even apologists were like "bridge too far, bro"

Speaking of McCain, for all the ups and plenty of downs that BO has had during his first term, sometimes i think what a president Mccain would have been like and have to put a washcloth on my head and crawl under the bed.

A friend of mine posted that Romney got as close in Michigan as he did in Georgia...8 points, with NO advertising and no real effort. It appears everyone involved in the game needs to study their Ohio ground game and peep how to turn out an extra 200,000 AA voters....Jebus...

we heard in 08 how the right was finally heading out into the wilderness to think things over after being spanked, and we're hearing that again now. i am hopeful, but leery that they'll dig in even harder like they've been doing the last 4 yrs.
