It's crazy... I bet (over the past 2 years) that I've applied to about 150 jobs now. I've done about a dozen phone interviews, five face interviews and no luck. Then for this one all I did was post a resume and monster and my phone rang three hours later.

so ive been working my tail off.
i don't mind it at all because the work and pay is great. i am tired as hell all the time though.
between 55-60 hours (of actual work) in monday through friday. fortunately no work on the weekends yet. between this and grad school i haven't been able to check this board nearly enough. i miss hanging out all day with all yall.

i do a rail/bike combo now (on days where it's not too slippery, that bike isn't built for snow/ice). when it's slippery im just on foot. haven't ever drove to this gig.

winter has actually been pretty weak here. maybe one week of super cold. some of my out of town coworkers think it's bad, but they're not dressed for it.

And free game tickets for all of your friends and fellow boarders, right??

I don't know about the free or deal tickets yet. I hope so.
At other stadiums the teams would occasionally give the dude in my role a few tickets, but I'm told it was pretty random. It's not like I could sit with friends or family during the games, so I don't know if they'll offer. I'll be sure to start asking the Twins staff about that soon.

Since the stadium is brand new and the team didn't own the stadium before, they haven't really figured out what they'll do with it when there's no baseball. I predict they will try concerts and stuff, but the Target Center is also right next door. I hope they do an ice skating rink next winter.

So my boss resigned...to go pursue his dreams of being a business owner. And as that was happening his boss got fired.
That put me into some nice meetings. I told them I just want to be creative all the time, and ideally not watch every single baseball game in it's entirety.

Today I got dat PROMOTION.
I still don't know if I get dat WAGE upped though. Supposedly, that will shake out soon. Either way, I'm happier.
