Yea, you could put the remainder on a credit card and pay it off with the retirement money...but then that does seem kind of shady...

I don't think it's gaming the system. I'm sure kickstarter wants to see you get funded or there's nothing in it for them either. I think they set it up the way they did so that if you don't raise enough to fund it, you aren't collecting from everyone and then failing at your goal. But if you could either withdraw the difference and run it through kickstarter via credit card or just start up a new project with a lower goal, I don't know why they'd be against it.

indiegogo allows you to partially fund things, but their cut is higher until you are fully funded, at which point they kick back to you. phil you could always try there if this doesnt work.

Not meant to be more than a basic block-out suggestion but...



1. I'd have a real photograph instead of a vid grab, both on digital and on Ilford 100 b&w film pushed 2 stops for extreme contrast.
2. I'd have your lips closed and a slightly less friendly / happy look on your face, either posed or shot as you're having a conversation with someone under lighting of my choice. Serious, but not angry.
3. Grey background here would be a color.
4. Text would be whatever you want. Thus just made me chuckle.

Or something totally different. But high contrast will print cleaner and stand out better as a graphic image. So if it has a photo, it needs to contrasted heavily.
