I had an hour to kill before going to work so I thought I'd jump on. Saw that the Senator had already posted a couple of times and was like "Why the fuck is HE up so early?". Then realized that I had to ask myself the same thing. Thing is, I was getting up this early before I started this new job. Don't know why. Just happens.

I notice that it happens more when I've been drunk the night before. Which isn't very often anymore, but none the less. Anyone else have this problem?

I have this nasty habit of waking up with the sunrise... which is about 5:00 am these days.

I'm up cause Charlie has to go to school and josh to work, otherwise this is my day off. Both of em aren't feeling well and one of em is rambunctious as hell this mornin(guess which guy).

I know it rained last night and that always makes me feel blah and aside from being woken up a couple times by cats quarreling I slept 7 something hours. But I feel exhausted and when they leave in fifteen minutes I'm going back to sleep for two hours.

This is exactly what happened to me, Gar. I was going to start a new thread, but this is as good a place as any to post my experiences with one of the biggest, truest mongers of this area, who also happens to be a state senator, the same dude whose *ahem* trailer I currently occupy.

Homeboy comes over at like 4:30 yesterday and is all "Can you slip away with me for a while this afternoon?" so we go to Happy Hour with his friends, all the while consuming massive amounts of Bourbon, and discussing things like destroying Bayouu La Batre's economy to make way for condominiums.

But yeah, by like 10, I was back here and drunk as piss. 5:30am, wide ass awake. Checked up on the board, watched some Imus, read about 3 chapters in a book. I am finally up and showered, and contemplating either working, or eating the leftover sammich in the fridge. Guess which one will win?

Have you started services on the hub? Are you using different ports for your hub and your client? Can you ping your new address successfully?

start -> run -> "ping (new address)"

You may have to set ports manually.

Close UPnP, and assign ports manually (411,1411 for hub; 412,1412 for client). Make sure the ports are open in your firewall.

It's even earlier here on the west coast. Been awake since 5:20pm. Oops, time to hit the showers.

It's relative for me. If I get up at some awful hour enough times in a row, it's not so awful. 8:00 used to be awful. Now 6:30 isn't so bad. But waking up at the same time as someone else helps a ton.

She's a morning person, I'm not. It's not my fault. So she's up right away, I drag ass. But when staying up late comes in handy, who always comes through in the clutch? That's right, Me, baby. When a trip requires research late at night, and she's too sleepy... I does it. And when we drive back to GA, and she wants to start the 14-hr drive at 10pm and sleep in the back, who drives till 8am? Me, baby. It's a skill not unlike any other skill.

....ohhhh. THAT sort of shinanigan. No, I'm not down with that. Sleep and let sleep. And a word to the newly-bethrothed: give up on any notions you had of equality or acountability. Immediately.
