I don't see them as being the sort of thing you'd be into.

'90s, Steve Albini-type noise/math/post-rock.

I love a lot of that stuff. Their album Rusty is great.

The Deafheaven album is OK. I like the last track the best which is probably the most overtly "shoegaze". The rest of it sounds way more like a sort of pretty, cinematic post-rock/metal hybrid almost in the vein of Isis but with kinda lame "black metal" vocals that I really don't like.

Transmuteo

Debut full-length after a few tapes from Transmuteo. Synths and other electronics, with a faux new age/self help theme on this one. Hypnotic and meditative. I've given this a lot of listen since I got it a bit ago. Nice vinyl pressing on Aguirre records as well. This one keeps growing on me the more I listen despite the absolutely atrocious cover art.
