I can't believe i was actually shocked when it happened. Again. Seriously. I was speechless for a good 10 minutes. It doesn't help that i'm a Liverpool fan. He's a great footballer and Liverpool is probably stuck with him unless they give him a free transfer which makes no sense. What should Liverpool do?

I'm being serious. I doubt Liverpool can require him to get a lobotomy.

Do you think they should release him? Sell him for cheap? Rally around him in hopes of keeping him at anfield long term? If FIFA's ban doesn't extend to the domestic league should they suspend him themselves?

I'm torn. He's so good, and fun to watch that i think Liverpool needs him if they want to do anything in the league or champions league next year. I don't think Rickie Lambert or anyone (outside of the obvious) can fill his boots.

If Barca or Real want him and will pay decently for it, let him go.

Ructions in the Ghana camp with 2 of their best players sent home.

Good news for United States, I'd suggest.

MLS should buy low on Suarez. Make him centerpiece of NYCFC, or put him in Chicago or Houston wth Latino fanbase.

Suarez will end up at Real Madrid, a club almost custom made for scumbags.

I was hoping for at least a draw, but it might be the best result after a defeat for the USA in the history of the National team.
I would have liked to see them possess the ball a bit more and make moves like they did in stoppage time to try to score a goal, but I understand being defensive and playing for a draw/narrow defeat.
I'm just happy they managed to make it to the knockout stage from the group of death, with the prediction I prognosticated and that they didn't get annihilated by Die Mannschaft.
I'm really hoping they find a way to beat them at least once at a future World Cup.

Barcelona isn't much better to be honest. I used to defend them when Carles Puyol was still playing, but Javier Mascherano is up there on the scumbag list.
